Salesforce integration — bookings as Contacts or Leads with an Event
Connect Salesforce (production or sandbox) and every booking made through your WhenMeet.me booking link is matched to a Contact or Lead by email — or creates a new Lead — and logged as an Event. Reschedules and cancellations update the same Event.
OAuth 2.0 with PKCE; production and sandbox orgs are both supported.
Matches an existing Contact by email first, then an unconverted Lead.
Creates a Lead (Lead Source “WhenMeet.me”) when there is no match; the company comes from a company answer on the booking form or the email domain.
Logs an Event with the booking title, start and end time, the conference link as location and a plain-text description.
Assigns the Event to the active Salesforce user whose email matches the host, otherwise to the user who connected.
What happens when a meeting is booked, moved or cancelled
Booked
A Contact or Lead is found (or a Lead is created) and an Event is logged for it.
Rescheduled
The same Event gets the new start and end time.
Cancelled
The Event’s subject is prefixed with “Canceled:” and the cancellation reason is added to its description.
How to set it up
Sign in to WhenMeet.me and open /links.
In Integrations, click Connect next to Salesforce (choose sandbox if needed) and approve access.
If Salesforce refuses the connection, your org’s admin has to approve the WhenMeet.me app. The installation package for external Salesforce orgs is still pending, so that approval may not be possible yet.
Book a test meeting and check the Event in Salesforce.
Permissions requested
WhenMeet.me requests only the OAuth scopes it actually needs:

Salesforce integration FAQ
Does it work with Salesforce sandboxes?
Yes. Pick the sandbox option when connecting and WhenMeet.me signs in through test.salesforce.com.
Will WhenMeet.me attach a booking to the wrong record?
It only uses an exact email match on a Contact or an unconverted Lead. Without one it creates a new Lead rather than guessing.
